Product Usage
Fertilizer base
Potassium chloride is one of the three elements of fertilizer, which promotes the formation of plant protein and carbohydrates, enhances the lodging resistance, and is a key element to improve the quality of agricultural products. It has the role of balancing nitrogen and phosphorus and other nutrient elements in plants.
Food addition
1. Food processing, salt can also be partially replaced with potassium chloride sodium chloride to reduce the possibility of high blood pressure.
2. Used as salt substitute, nutrient supplement, gelling agent, yeast food, flavoring agent, flavoring agent, PH control agent.
3. Used as a nutrient for potassium, compared with other potassium nutrients, it has the characteristics of cheap, high potassium content, easy storage, etc., so edible potassium chloride is the most widely used as a nutrient fortifier for potassium.
4. As a fermentation nutrient in fermented food because potassium ions have strong chelating and gelling characteristics, it can be used as a gelling agent in food, and colloidal foods such as carrageenan and gellan gum are generally used.
5. Food-grade potassium chloride can be used in agricultural products, aquatic products, livestock products, fermented products, condiments, cans, flavoring agents for convenience foods, etc., or used to strengthen potassium (for human electrolytes) to prepare athlete drinks.
Inorganic chemical industry
Used for the manufacture of various potassium salts or bases such as potassium hydroxide, potassium sulfate, potassium nitrate, potassium chlorate, potassium alum and other basic raw materials, dye industry for the production of G salt, reactive dyes and so on. It is used in the pharmaceutical industry as a diuretic and as a remedy for potassium deficiency. In addition, it is also used in the manufacture of muzzle or muzzle flame suppressants, heat treatment agents for steel, and for photography.
