The reaction mechanism of AEO and SO3 sulfation may be that AEO reacts with SO3 of 2 molecules to form an unstable intermediate, which reacts with AEO molecules to produce fatty alcohol polyoxyethylene ether sulfate. The typical sulfation conditions of AEO are as follows: The inlet temperature of SO3 is about 45℃, the circulating cooling water temperature of sulfonator is 30 ~ 35℃, the molar ratio of SO3/AEO is 1.01 ~ 1.02, and the gas concentration of SO3 is 2.5 ~ 3.5%. 2.2 Neutralization of fatty alcohol polyoxyethylene ether sulfate is unstable, long-term placement will cause product decomposition and color deepening, need to be neutralized immediately to prevent decomposition and increase of dioxane content, neutralization temperature 45℃ ~ 50℃, to prevent the neutralization of the product return acid decomposition.

Detergent/liquid detergent
It is mainly mixed with LAS, AE and other surfactants. At present, although there are some washing powders or concentrated washing powders, the proportion of alcohol-based surfactants such as AE or AES in the proportion has increased year by year, and a considerable part of it has replaced the amount of LAS, but because LAS has good washing deconfouling and foaming ability, the price is cheap, suitable for washing powder molding. So a fashion is not something that AES or other active agents can replace. Universal formula compatible with AES is suitable for making laundry detergent.
Shampoo/complex soap
AES shampoo, in addition to having excellent foam properties (especially foam stability in hard water), is not affected when the pH value changes, solubility is good, and quality is excellent. The use of non-irritating properties of mild, no damage to scalp, hair, anti-static good easy to comb. For shampoos, additives such as coconut oil diethanolamide (i.e., laurate diethanolamide) or oxyamine are often added to the formula in order to improve stability.

Paper manufacturing industry
